Extract the "gamestate" file, just like you would extract any other file from a zip archive. Get "Notepad++". Open the gamestate file with Notepad++. One of the first lines in that file should be something like "ironman=yes". Delete that line completely. Save the gamestate file. Put the gamestate file back into the zip.

So I defeated enigmatic fortress (stupidly built 5 fleets with 100k power thinking forstress would hard target, it died suprisingly easy). It says that team of explorers is out there trying to prevent it from powering up again. So how long time does it take for that slow team? It has been some time without happening anything.
